Faithful Followers Greet Returning Troops

 

NAME:  Faithful Followers
TARGET:  All adults - married, single, young, middle-aged, old
STUDY:  Teacher - Carol Rapp
Literature - Cokesbury Adult Bible Study. This is a vocal, participating class; we love to share our thoughts with each other.
PROJECTS:  Actively support mission projects of FUMC.  Have sent several teams for ministry projects, including Sabine Pass and Sager Brown. 
SOCIALS:  Have at least one class-wide social quarterly.  Have a number of members involved in "Dinner Six" which is aimed at more intimate social gatherings to help us get to know each other better.
NAME:WOW - Ladies              TARGET: all ages                     STUDY: Methodist Curriculum  Teachers:  Andy Smith       Location: Wesley House 
They are studying from the Cokesbury Methodist Curriculum, sharing from their
diverse backgrounds and experiences.  They support missions through the local church and occasionally enjoy social times together.

 

NAME: The Disciples               TARGET: older adults                STUDY:  Methodist Curriculum  Teachers:  Sam Buchmeyer, Hobbs Williams, and JoAnn Minshew      Location: Young Hall NAME: The Truth Seekers     TARGET:50 and over adults  STUDY: Methodist Curriculum   Teachers: Frank Motsenbocker  Location: Wesley House
  Bereans Class:

The class consists of students of all ages who are eager to learn, dig beneath the surface and find answers to their questions. The class is studying the Basics of the Christian Faith and various topics chosen by the members.

Special StudiesSmall group Bible Studies are offered throughout the year at various times.  Call the office for details.
 Lenten Program is offered for 4 weeks prior to Palm Sunday, usually on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. with a light meal and classes for all age groups.
