CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Sunday School:

Nursery –Two loving, caring caregivers in our newly remodeled Nursery room.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

Age 3-5 (pre K) Age-appropriate Bible verses, stories and projects led by Ann Flake and Kay Redmon, teachers meeting in Young Hall

Elementary – These young people enjoy a rotation type Sunday School with various mediums for teaching the Bible lessons. They experience learning through stories, cooking, science, art and games. The learning takes place in specially designed classrooms that depict the Market Place, Temple, Upper Room, and tent life the people of Bible times experienced.

FELLOWSHIP AND SERVICE

Children’s time – The children are invited to join a loving speaker at the altar of the church for a special time of visual/ age appropriate devotions related to the sermon topic of the day.

Children’s Choir – Children of all ages are encouraged to join the Joy Jammers for a wonderful time of singing and learning more about music each Wednesday at 4:30 PM and Sundays after the 10:30 AM worship service. Then with regularity, the children offer their praises in song to the congregations in the worship services and other special events. They will be presenting a special Christmas program this year during the Advent season to help us celebrate this miraculous time in the life of our community.

Vacation Bible Camp – Each year in June, we invite all children of the community who have finished Kindergarten through the 5^th Grade, to join us in a full week of fun pertaining to a special theme from the Bible. We sing, play games, hear wonderful Bible stories do mission projects and arts and crafts projects that reinforce what we are learning each day. We learn that we can be faithful in serving God by living out what we learn.
